Private Communications Partners with FreedomPop’s New UNREAL Mobile Spin Off

First mobile service to include free VPN privacy features, Data Compression And Ad Blocking Services.

SHERMAN CT and LOS ANGELES CA, July 27 2018  —  Private Communications Corporation, a leading provider of wholesale VPN and mobile optimization technology, today announced it has partnered with FreedomPop, the global telecom company that pioneered free wireless internet and mobile phone service, to include Private Communications services on FreedomPop’s just launched spin-off UNREAL Mobile. UNREAL Mobile offers the lowest cost mobile service in the U.S., and is the first Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) to automatically include a Virtual Private Network (VPN), data compression and ad blocking for all customers.

In all three UNREAL Mobile plans, subscribers get access to a VPN service, the ability to compress data, and an ad blocker, all of which can be activated through the UNREAL Mobile app.

“We’ve seen genuine excitement around VPN, data compression and ad blocking, so it made sense that these features would be included in the UNREAL Mobile offering,” said Stephen Stokols, CEO of FreedomPop. “We were able to test and evaluate these services over time in our FreedomPop phones and know firsthand how much users trust and rely on them. As UNREAL works to distinguish itself as a high value, low cost mobile service, we knew enhanced privacy and security was a must which is why we partnered again with Private Communications.”

“For years we’ve had a terrific partnership with FreedomPop, and this new relationship with UNREAL Mobile extends our VPN and other service offerings as an  automatic benefit for all their customers,” explained Kent Lawson, CEO and founder of Private Communications Corporation. “We’re thrilled to see these much-needed benefits embedded at such low cost, enabling individuals to enjoy a secure, private and premium mobile experience no matter the price point.”

UNREAL Mobile officially launched on June 20th and, in addition to UNREAL’s website, it is also available at Best Buy, Target, Amazon and Walmart.
