We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Trinity Mobile Networks to provide seamless WiFi and cellular connectivity to wireless operators and consumers. This collaboration leverages our global networking infrastructure and Trinity’s unique Software Defined Wireless Network to enable enterprises, fleet owners and MVNOs to access the benefits of virtualizing wireless networks for the first time.
This platform will provide seamless wifi-cellular transitions and deliver faster download speeds — particularly important when network access is less than ideal (which is, of course, most of the time). It provides carriers granular control over how and when devices are connected to wifi hotspots, lowering the total cost of providing connectivity, while improving the end user experience. Also, there is an important analytics function, which reports on quality of both wifi and cell signal.
