Partnership leveraging PCC’s global networking infrastructure and Trinity’s unique Software Defined Wireless Network enables enterprises, fleet owners and MVNOs to access the benefits of virtualizing wireless networks for the first time
NEW YORK and NEW HAVEN, Conn., July 17, 2018 – Private Communications Corporation (PCC), a leading provider of white-label VPN and other connectivity services, and Trinity Mobile Networks (Trinity), the developer of Jumpnet, the world’s only over-the-top Software Defined Wireless Network, today announced a strategic partnership to transform internet connectivity by seamlessly integrating wireless and cellular networks. The partnership will make Trinity’s Jumpnet platform available to wireless operators and the millions of consumers who use the PCC server network and allow them – for the first time – to aggregate bandwidth and move between different wireless networks, including WiFi and cellular, as if they were a single network. The partnership will also leverage PCC’s expertise in managing large-scale distributed server networks, including capacity planning, software deployment, and network monitoring.Trinity’s technology running on the PCC network will be available in Summer 2018.
“We’re thrilled to begin Trinity’s new partnership with PCC and provide the easiest way for both enterprises and consumers to achieve perfect WiFi-cellular transitions as well as faster and significantly less expensive connectivity,” said Tyler Reynolds, chief executive officer and co-founder, Trinity Mobile Networks. “One important benefit to our operator and fleet owner customers is that we can now offer them both Trinity’s unique technology and a highly scalable way for them to deploy the Jumpnet platform by running on PCC’s global server network.”
“We are delighted to partner with Trinity Mobile Networks,” said Kent Lawson, chief executive officer and founder, Private Communications Corporation. “This relationship enables us to extend our VPN and other service offerings to enable providers to benefit from bandwidth aggregation technologies. Working together, we will provide an incredibly compelling solution that optimizes the end user experience while also enabling operators to control their network and offload as much traffic as possible to WiFi hotspots.”
