Why does DataCompress cost money when other competing products are free?
It’s simple. The companies offering free apps sell your information and online behavior to advertisers and other companies. (It’s all there in the fine print when you sign up.)

Save money
Overage fees are the worst, and DataCompress can help you avoid them. With a prepaid or pay as you go data plan, you see the savings right away. Those on a monthly plan may be able switch to a cheaper data plan.

Avoid speed caps
If your network speed gets reduced when you reach a specific threshold, DataCompress can help you stay under the cap and in the fast lane longer each month.

Now with Video Optimization!
DataCompress optimizes video for your phone. It works with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and most other apps and websites.

Keep your data private
“Free” compression apps sell your info. DataCompress takes your privacy seriously and will never store, analyze, monetize, or share information about you or your browsing habits with anyone.

Block annoying ads and trackers
Data Compress clears your mobile device of obtrusive ads, which means that your web pages will load faster and you’ll use less data on your mobile plan. Data Compress also blocks those annoying tracking cookies that advertisers use to follow you around the web.
How It Works
DataCompress actually compresses data including video – so it eats up less of your data plan – with no change in quality.

POOF!
When you go to a website or an app where there is video, DataCompress shrinks it first, before you see it on your phone. Choose from 2 compression levels. Medium: Our recommended setting. You will get great savings and not notice the difference in image quality. High: Recommended when you want maximum data savings. Get the right sized content, fast. Less data means using less of your plan.
It happens in fractions of a second. Instead of wasting time and data downloading a video that’s unnecessarily big, you get only what you need: a video that’s the perfect size for your phone.
In testing, DataCompress reduced data usage by 50%.

TRY IT FREE FOR 10 DAYS and see how well it works for you. * Your savings will vary based on the sites you visit. Different websites compress at different rates. Some saw reductions of up to 70%, while some saw less.
With DataCompress, your privacy is safe.

DataCompress FAQs
What is DataCompress?
DataCompress is a data savings app for your mobile device that helps you get the most out of your device’s data plan.
Who created DataCompress?
DataCompress was created by Private Communications Corporation, a leading Internet data privacy company and creator of personal encryption software called Private WiFi®.
Why was it created?
Nobody likes getting socked with a data overage—or using their phone less because they fear one. The purpose of DataCompress is to help people save money and use their phones the way they want.
How does DataCompress work?
Data Compress saves you data by compressing images and text. Here’s how:
Your phone connects to the Internet through a DataCompress server. If you request to see a picture, the DataCompress server shrinks it first—and then sends it to your phone. It happens fast—in fractions of a second. Instead of downloading a picture that’s unnecessarily big, you get only what you need—a picture that’s the perfect size for your phone.
Why do I need it?
If you’re currently going over your data plan limit, it’s a no-brainer. Even if you’re not, there’s a good chance you could tomorrow.
Most of the apps on your smartphone are not smart about how they use data. They use way more than they need—often in the background and without telling you. And many of them aren’t optimized to use as little data as possible. They see no difference between a fat unlimited WiFi connection and a smaller mobile data pipe. They guzzle data, even when they should be sipping.
Why should I pay for data compression?
Other companies offer a data compression product to you for free because they sell information about you and your online behavior to advertisers.
